Walking meetings increase activity that is physical white-collar employees

Changing one seated meeting each week into a walking meeting increased the physical exercise levels of white-collar workers by ten minutes, based on a University of Miami study.

Researchers recruited white-collar workers from a sizable university in Florida to be involved in a pilot study directed at increasing workplace task that is real.

the common blended moderate/vigorous activity that is real by participants increased from 107 mins in the 1st week to 114 minutes in the 2nd week also to 117 mins in week three regarding the research.

"Physical task interventions such as the Walking Meeting protocol that encourage walking and raise levels of physical exercise at work are expected to counter the negative wellness effects of sedentary behavior," scientists suggest.
